Orchids Nail & Beauty Academy proudly organised and sponsored this year’s Trends & Spends Expo in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice. The event, which was held at the Scarborough Rugby Union Football Club, was a massive success, raising £160 on the raffle alone. A number of the supporting businesses made donations also. Thanks to everyone who took part and made the day so enjoyable.



Following the huge success of our courses in Jersey last year, we will be returning to deliver further training in 2011 and 2012.

Orchids Nail and Beauty Academy Orchids Nail & Beauty Academy is an independent training provider located in the Yorkshire coast town of Filey, just 5 miles from Scarborough and 10 miles from Bridlington. We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver detailed and relevant training, by passing on knowledge and experience of the Nail & Beauty industry, to those who wish to pursue a career in Nail & Beauty Therapies or simply develop their existing skills and client base. Our short courses have been designed to suit all levels of capability; from total beginner, all the way up to experienced practitioners.

Our course schedules are planned in advance but do allow some flexibility. We understand that organising time and fitting training around work and personal commitments isn’t easy, so where we can, we will endeavour to meet individual requirements. Our studio provides a comfortable and relaxed environment; it is well equipped, with some of the most up to date products and training gadgets. The Academy is located in the Evron Centre, an imposing building in the centre of Filey, with stunning views out across the gardens and beach. Filey is easily accessible by main road, rail and bus links, there is ample free parking and accommodation can be arranged.
